Eileen found the true meaning of inspiration as a Peace Corps volunteer in Yemen, where she assisted medical providers to promote life-saving health practices, “In so many cases we were working with illiterate women and children.  We had to come up with communication strategies that were clear and resonated with their culture.  I was inspired by their struggles, raising children in extreme poverty in a volatile region, and in turn, I hoped to communicate messages that would inspire some comfort and ease in each individual life.” Her experience in Yemen moved Eileen to channel her creative talents into creating inspiring messages for diverse audiences.

Formerly an art director at several global advertising agencies, including Euro RSCG, Eileen worked on campaigns for clients including IBM, G.E., Pfizer, SARGENT, Novartis, and BIC.  With her perspective shaped by a wide range of experiences, Eileen leads the creative team at Odonnell Company.  She still embraces a hands-on approach to creating; you can find her pastels and paintings in galleries and shops around the Greater New Haven area.
