Our campaigns are focused on making positive impacts in communities—so we need an individual who is interested in really digging in to understand and develop communications around complex challenges in education, health care, transportation, environment, and early childhood—and designing for a range of audiences across the full spectrum of communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use research and our methodology to deeply understand projects, clients, and the challenge to be solved. Use collaboration and creativity to develop unique, compelling, and positive creative for campaigns.
  • Execute high-quality creative work across diverse channels, including deliverables developed for print, digital, social, audio, video, events.
  • In alignment with client strategic initiatives, develop and present creative assets to clients.
  • Develop concepts that convey strategic messages and maintain a unified look across print and digital.
  • Identify and art direct talent and resources to develop images, videos, radio ads, outdoor and print ads, websites, and print collateral. Ability to manage photo and video shoots, audio production and ability to oversee brand and campaign assets such as fonts, palettes, imagery.
  • Incorporate changes recommended by the other departments into designs.
  • Work with team members to make sure all projects meet client objectives and budgetary guidelines.
  • Keep team members briefed on creative projects in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
  • Video and Audio Capabilities a plus.

This is a role for a Senior Marketing Project Manager who is dynamic, ambitious, detail-obsessed, and strategic. Key Responsibilities

  • Write Creative Briefs: develop and manage marketing strategies for traditional and digital media

Odonnell Co. seeks a Senior Earned Media Manager/Consultant who is passionate about making change for the better for individuals and communities. The Earned Media Manager/Consultant will be an integral part of our dynamic, talented and diverse team—all committed to our client initiatives. This position will be primarily responsible for outreach to tv, radio, print, & digital media outlets in the Atlanta market. Specific duties will include strategizing opportunities to secure positive media coverage that helps advance client goals and objectives; writing and/or editing news releases and op-eds; helping plan and staff media events; pitching stories; and responding to requests from reporters and editors. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, talented writer and editor who is familiar with the media, thinks strategically and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Manager/Consultant will develop proactive and reactive public relations and media engagement strategies as it relates to the our clients’ programs, promotions and published content as a part of the marketing and communications plan. Ongoing, consistent media relations will underpin all programs to maintain a steady drumbeat of visibility. When a particular program or initiative is being launched, the Manager/Consultant will be responsible for developing a targeted media relations strategy that complements the overall marketing and communications campaign. Media engagement tactics will include a pitch calendar, proactive media outreach and media briefings; talking points, proof points, responses to questions in writing for submittal to the media by our clients, press events and briefings, media training, etc.

The consultant will develop an owned content strategy for our clients’ programs and develop owned content including blogs, e-magazines & e-newsletters and infographics. The Manager/Consultant will work with our team and our clients to implement content strategy across all owned media channels including but not limited to, website and social media channels.

Goal:

The Manager/Consultant will seek to be both proactive and reactive in public relations and media engagement strategies as it relates to our clients’ programs. The Manager/Consultant will also develop content strategy in connection with the overall marketing and communications plan.

Key activities within this task include but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with our client’s internal public affair’s team to establish our client as the voice and vision for commuting and connection in the region.
  • Developing a plan to encourage consistency across all platforms and promotions, increasing visibility of our client’s messaging, and providing consistent engagement.
  • Considering all audiences, including increasing the profile of our clients’ solutions for businesses, consumer-friendly stories, and offering a timely voice as post-COVID reopening occurs.
  • Developing influencer relationships to further strengthen the reach and impact of client programs within Atlanta’s diverse communities.
  • Creating a steady flow of GCO visibility; Manager/Consultant will contribute to the overall plan via ongoing relationships with press contacts, key influencers, economic development authorities, and community partners in the Metro Atlanta area.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a communications capacity for a nonprofit advocacy organization, an elected official, and/or private entity required.
  • At least 5 years working in a position with direct interaction with reporters and editors.
  • Demonstrated success using a variety of communications tactics to persuade and influence diverse audiences on complex subjects.
  • Experience producing compelling communications, including press releases and web content.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow‐up, ability to track and report on progress.
  • Intellectual curiosity; an innovative and entrepreneurial drive; comfort with change and ambiguity; a “doer.”.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Passion for making change in the world.
